Constant Voltage Power Supplies:
Illuma offer a range of constant voltage power supplies for their range of LED products that require a remote, separate power supply.
These are for LED products that have "on-board" circuitry to control the current delivered to the LED. The output supply required is a DC voltage and is 24VDC.
The current will vary (up to a given maximum) depending upon the load connected to the output of the power supply.
The table below provides information on the type of power supply required for the given ranges and number of products that may be powered by a single power supply.
Constant Current LED Drivers:
Illuma offer a range of constant current drivers for their range of LED products that require a remote, separate driver. These are for LED products that do not have "on-board" circuitry to control the current delivered to the LED and this must therefore be controlled within the remote driver.
The output voltage will vary (up to a maximum) depending upon the load connected to the output of the driver whilst the current will remain constant.
The table below provides information on the type of power supply required for the given ranges and the number of products that may be powered by a single power supply.
Due to the delicate nature of such LEDs, care must be taken when selecting and initially connecting the drivers to the LEDs.
Voltage spikes, high inrush currents must be avoided if permanent damage is to be avoided. Full installation guidance and instruction is provided with the product.
All products carry the relevant product safety and performance approvals.
